We are a European game studio, uniting passionate and talented professionals across the globe, to create groundbreaking gaming experiences, such as Gods, Death and Reapers.
When you use our website or contact us, Wolcen Studio acts as the data controller, meaning we determine the purposes (the “why”) and means (the “how”) of processing your personal data, in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.

« Personal data » refers to any information that can identify you. This includes, your name, email address, or other details, such as your game preferences or the time you spend playing, which we collect when you contact us or agree to receive our personalised communications.

We collect the personal data you provide to us, including when:
- You agree to receive our personalised communications;

- You interact with us on social media or other platforms linked from our website;
- You exercise any of your rights outlined in section 7.
4. Why and on what basis do we use your data?

- To send you personalised communications: We process your data to send you news about our games and offers from Wolcen, and to personalise the content, according to your preferences. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in each email.
- Legal basis: Consent.
- To respond to your inquiries: We use your data to handle and respond to your requests when you contact us via email or other channels.
- Legal basis: Legitimate interest.
- To comply with legal obligations: We process your data, as required to comply with applicable laws, such as responding to requests from regulatory or judicial authorities. This includes situations where you contact us to exercise any of your rights, as outlined in Section 7.

5. Who has access to your data? Is it transferred outside the European union?
When you contact us, your data may be accessed by our teams who handle your request, including marketing, and by our service providers or subcontractors, such as hosting or mailing provider.
As part of the tools we use, your data may be subject to transfers outside the European Union. These transfers are secured using the following methods:
- Either the data is transferred to a country deemed to offer an adequate level of protection by a decision of the European Commission. This is the case for companies based in the United States that have joined the Data Privacy Framework;
- Or we have entered into specific contracts with our subcontractors regulating the transfer of your data outside the European Union, based on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission

6. How long do we keep your data?

- For user request: your data is retained for the time required to process and respond to that request. In case of exercising your right to object, as described in section 7, we retain this information for up to 5 years.
